Biogeographic province: Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Soil, litter and detritus of a cave. Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin . Pinus michoacana and Quercus rugosa forest. Soil in avocado plantations.
