Records in Mexico: Jalisco, Durango, Quintana Roo, Campeche and Oaxaca.
Biogeographic province: Sierra Madre del Sur. Sierra Madre Occidental. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Soil and litter of cloud mountain forest. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Low land rainforest bark. Associated with nests of Neotoma albigula ( Rodentia : Muridae ).
