Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Oaxaca and Veracruz.
Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Sierra Madre del Sur. Veracruzan.
Habitat: Mangrove litter. Soil and litter of cloud mountain forest. Soil and litter of Guarea glabra . Low flooded rainforest soil. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin .
