Distribution: Cosmopolitan.
Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Campeche, Oaxaca, Hidalgo and Veracruz.
Biogeographic province: Sierra Madre Oriental. Yucatan Peninsula. Sierra Madre del Sur. Veracruzan.
Habitat: Pinus cembroides leaf litter. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Soil and litter of Guarea glabra . Low flooded rainforest litter. Pitfall traps in medium rainforest. Soil in acahual and coffee plantations. Leaf litter under trees and bushes in a secondary semi-evergreen tropical forest.
