Distribution: Cosmopolitan.

Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Jalisco, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Michoacan, Veracruz and Yucatan.

Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Pacific Lowlands. Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Veracruzan.

Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Litter of mangrove and ciricote. Leaf litter and soil (technified, transitional and production without the use of machinery and species associated with Mangifera indica plantations). Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin . Sabal thorn forest litter, Pinus oocarpa litter, coffee litter, high jungle, tropical forest. Soil in avocado plantations.
