Records in Mexico: Yucatan, Guerrero, Veracruz and Jalisco.

Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Veracruzan. Pacific Lowlands.

Habitat: Decide trail to ruins, 200 m a.s.l., dense lower tropical moist forest, partially–decayed leaf litter with pieces of wood, moist. Trunk, Pinus oocarpa litter.
