Distribution: Neotropical.
Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Veracruz and Campeche.
Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Veracruzan.
Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Mangrove root, moss. Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Flooded lowland rainforest leaf litter.
