Trhypochthonius sp.

Records in Mexico: Morelos, Guerrero, Coahuila, Quintana Roo and Hidalgo.

Biogeographic province: Balsas Basin. Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Yucatan Peninsula. Sierra Madre Oriental. Chihuahuan Desert.

Habitat: Leaf litter (of various species) and soil of the Tehuacan Valley. Pine and oak litter. Littoral zone. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Leaf litter ( Pinus cembroides ). Shrubland, Mezquital ( Prosopis glandulosa ); wet grassland, Tular ( Sporobolus / Distichlis ); desert shrub, Larrea ( Larrea tridentata / Fouquieria ); desert shrub, Sotol ( Dasylirion wheeleri ) and Peladero ( Sporobolus ) surrounded by areas of gypsum desert dunes with no vegetation cover. Xerophytic shrub, composed mainly of succulents and cacti ( Myrtillocactus geometrizans ).
