Distribution: Pantropical, Subtropical and Antarctic.
Records in Mexico: Jalisco, Chiapas, Quintana Roo and Hidalgo.
Biogeographic province: Pacific Lowlands. Yucatan Peninsula. Sierra Madre Oriental.
Habitat: Mangrove litter. Orchids. Canopy of low deciduous forest. Leaf litter ( Pinus cembroides ). Coffee soil.
