Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Veracruzan. Transmexica Volcanic Belt.
Habitat: Littoral zone. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Pinus michoacana and Quercus rugosa forest. Soil in coniferous forest.
