Material examined. Okinawa Island (RUMF-ZE-02006[holotype], RUMF-ZE-02007[1 paratype]): “silty room” of the “Hedo-Dome” cave, under rock or coral rubble, approximately 12 m depth, 23 May 2017 (RUMF-ZE- 02006) and 21 May 2017 (RUMF-ZE-02007). Ie Island (RUMF-ZE-02059[1], RUMF-ZE-02060[1], RUMF-ZE- 02061[1], RUMF-ZE-02062[1]): “entrance” of the “Unnamed cave”, approximately 15 m depth, 14 March 2018 .
Distribution. Okinawa Island and Ie Island, Japan. Depth range 12– 15 m.
Remarks. This species is recently described based on type materials collected from Okinawa Island. This second record from Ie Island is an extension of the known range from the “Hedo Dome” eastwards to another submarine cave “Unnamed cave”.
