Diagnosis. The species can be distinguished from other species of the group by the five distal spots in the forewing, the elongate digitate cucullus in the male genitalia, and the gourd-shaped corpus bursae in the female genitalia.

Wingspan 22.5−29.5 mm. Forewing pattern similar to that of male.Female genitalia ( Fig. 26 ) with papillae anales densely covered with long setae. Apophyses posteriores slightly shorter than papillae anales; apophyses anteriores slender, with an incurved pointed tip. Region around ostium bursae sclerotized. Antrum weakly sclerotized, banded circularly. Ductus bursae long and coiled. Corpus bursae elongate, gourd-shaped, shrank laterally at anterior 1/3 and posterior 1/4.

Distribution. China (Hainan, Hunan).

Notes. The female of this species is described for the first time.
