Type material. CHINA, Yunnan: Holotype ♂, Qiunatong Village (28.10ºN, 98.57ºE), Bingzhongluo Town , Gongshan County, Nujiang , 1767 m, 18. VI.2017, leg. KJ Teng et al., slide No. ZXJ20108 GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 1♀, same data as holotype GoogleMaps ; 1♂ 12♀, same locality as holotype, 14–17. VI.2017, slide Nos. ZXJ20072 GoogleMaps ♀, ZXJ20119 ♂, ZXJ20120 ♀, ZXJ20122 ♀; 1♀, Hudiequan, Dali , 2030 m, 2.VIII.2005, leg. YD Ren, slide No. WJJ10107 .

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to E. hunanensis Liu, 1980 in both forewing pattern and genitalia. It can be distinguished by the fold of the forewing with one tadpole-shaped stripe, the cell with a black spot on the outer margin above right angle of the tadpole-shaped stripe, and the cucullus 1/3 length of the maximum width of the valva in the male genitalia; and the tapered sclerite of the signum about 1/2 the length of the transverse part in the female genitalia. In E. hunanensis , the fold of the forewing has two tadpole-shaped stripes, the cell has no black spot on the outer margin above the right angle of the tadpole-shaped stripe, the cucullus is 1/2 as long as the maximum width of the valva, and the tapered sclerite of the signum is about 1/3 the length of the transverse part ( Liu 1980: 275, fig. 3).

Description. Adult ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–4 ). Wingspan 27.5‒31.0 mm.

Head: Vertex white mixed with black scales, black medially, frons white, mixed with black scales. Labial palpus white; basal palpomere black dorsally; second palpomere black on outer surface of basal half and at apex ventrally; third palpomere black ventrally, mixed with black in distal half dorsally, apex black. Antenna with scape black dorsally, greyish white ventrally; flagellum greyish brown, white on several basal flagellomeres dorsally.

Thorax: Collar grey, black basally. Mesonotum grey, with five rounded black spots: one placed at base, paired spots at middle and apex. Tegula grey, with black spot laterally. Forewing grey, overlaid with approximately 17 markings: black dot at base of costal margin, three black stripes in basal half of costal margin, second stripe Lshaped; cell with two black stripes medially, one close to anterior margin shorter, elongate tadpole-shaped black stripe extending from distal 1/3 to apex connected with black spot on outer margin above its right angle; slender black stripe above anterior margin of cell; fold with black stripe at base and black tadpole-shaped stripe at distal 1/3 heading towards base; rounded black spot below basal 1/3 of fold and rounded black spot above apex of fold; rounded black spot above basal 1/5 of dorsum; three black distal spots arranged in arc shape, spot at tornus largest; ten marginal black dots extending from distal part of costal margin along termen to tornus; fringe concolourous with wing. Hindwing grey; fringe grey basally, greyish white distally. Legs greyish white; coxa of foreleg black ventrally, femur and tibia black dorsally, tibia mixed with white near base, at middle and at apex, tarsus black, white at base of basal tarsomere and at apices of basal two tarsomeres dorsally; tibia of midleg mixed with black dorsally at base and near middle, black at apex, tarsus black, white at base of basal tarsomere and at apices of basal three tarsomeres dorsally; hindleg with femur and tibia yellowish grey dorsally, femur with black dot at base, tibia mixed with black near base and distally, tarsus black, white at base of basal tarsomere and at apices of basal four tarsomeres dorsally.

Abdomen: Male genitalia ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10–15 ) with uncus sub-quadrate in basal 2/3, with small hairy pad near lateral margin basally, bifurcate in distal 1/3, forming two thumb-shaped lobes extending obliquely outward, each lobe with a long oblique pleat near inner margin, a small denticle between lobes; ventral surface with sclerotized ridge near middle posteriorly. Tegumen height about equal to uncus length. Gnathos slightly shorter than uncus; caudal part narrow, with cluster of long spines; oral part distinctly longer than caudal part, anterior margin concave inward at middle, convex laterally, with crescent-shaped sclerite laterally on ventral surface. Labis digitate, extremely short, with short setae. Valva with costa 1/3 length of valva; sacculus widened distally, with digitate sclerite at basal 1/4 on dorsal margin; cucullus 1/3 length of maximum width of valva, with row of long, strong setae on dorsal margin, obliquely obtuse at apex. Juxta a narrow band, posterolateral lobes narrowed with pointed apices. Phallus tubular, curved basally; cornutus drop-shaped. Female genitalia ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 20–23 ) with papillae anales subquadrate, strongly sclerotized. Apophyses posteriores slightly shorter than papillae anales, widened apically; apophyses anteriores extremely short, papillary in shape. Eighth sternal plate more sclerotized on anterior margin, produced into small process anterolaterally. Region around ostium bursae sclerotized. Antrum small, shield-shaped, about 1/6 length of apophyses posteriores. Ductus bursae slender, membranous. Corpus bursae rounded, with dense granulation; signum large, T-shaped, covered with teeth of various sizes, slightly concave medially, tapered sclerite extending from middle, dentate, about 1/2 length of transverse part.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin corrugatus, referring to the pleat near the inner margin of each distal lobe of the uncus.
