Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Cerocoma (Mesocerocoma) scovitzi scovitzi Faldermann, 1837 , see TURCO & BOLOGNA (2011).

Remark. TURCO & BOLOGNA (2011) stated, that DVOŘÁK (1993a) simply raised a status of KASZAB’ s (1968) abberation based on Kaszab’s original specimens. That is however not true, DVOŘÁK (1993a) clearly described a ‘new subspecies’ based on specimens from his personal collection. Therefore we consider specimens mentioned in original description and labelled accordingly in Dvořák’s collection to be the types of Cerocoma scovitzi mirabilis .
