General distribution. Euro Mediterranean ( Austria, Germany), Caucasian Region, Near East, Egypt.
Host plants. On Triticum sp. ( Modarres Awal 1996a, 1997b), Triticum vulgare (both Poaceae ) (Sakenin et al. 2008), Asteraceae ( Linnavuori 2008; Nateq Golestan et al. 2011), Cirsium sp. , Echinops viscosus (both Asteraceae ), Triticum aestivum ( Poaceae ) ( Nateq Golestan et al. 2011); also on Brassicaceae , Rosaceae , Asteraceae , Lamiaceae , Linaceae , Scrophulariaceae (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013) .
