East Azarbaijan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Modarres Awal 1997b; Sadaghian et al. 2002), Fars ( Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b), Isfahan ( Hoberlandt 1955; Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b), Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 2008), Mazandaran ( Hoberlandt 1997), Northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Mohaghegh 2006), Iran (no locality cited) ( Safavi 1976; Rider 2006; Mohaghegh 2008).
General distribution. North America, Palearctic.
Comments. A predator of caterpillars and larvae of Coleoptera (mainly Chrysomelidae ) in wet biotopes ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006).
