Distribution in Iran. Guilan ( Linnavuori 2008; Mohaghegh 2008), Northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Mohaghegh 2006), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006; Mohaghegh 2008; Aukema et al. 2013).
General distribution. Palearctic.
Comments. Predator of Hyphantria cunea (Drury) ( Lepidoptera : Arctiidae ) on mulberry trees ( Mohaghegh 2008), and of beetles ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006), it can attack its own eggs and larvae ( Péricart 2010).
