Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran ( Hoberlandt 1997; Péricart 2010), Iran (no locality cited) ( Safavi 1976; Modarres Awal 1997b; Rider 2006).
General distribution. Balkan region, Turkey (both European and Asian parts), Iran. Comments. Like A. custos , A. insperata principally lives on Fagaceae where it hunts caterpillars of several species (e.g. Phalera , Euproctis , Lymantria , Thaumetopoea ) ( Péricart 2010).
