Cimex albolineatus Fabricius, 1781: 342  (preoccupied); Cimex leucogrammes Gmelin, 1789: 2131  (new name for C. albolineatus  ); Cimex nervosus Cyrillus, 1791: 6  ; Trigonosoma affine Westwood, 1837: 12  ; Sternodontus obtusus Horváth, 1888: 186  (non Mulsant & Rey, 1856); Ancyrosoma tuberculatum  de Bergevin, 1908: 278.

Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Khaghaninia et al. 2010 a, b, 2011, 2013), Fars ( Hoberlandt 1959, 1997), Golestan ( Kiritshenko 1949; Hoberlandt 1997), Guilan, Khorasan ( Linnavuori 2008), Hormozgan, Kerman, Mazandaran, Sistan & Baluchestan ( Hoberlandt 1997), Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1955; Safavi 1959; Iranipour 1996; Samin 2010), Zanjan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Linnavuori 2008; Askari et al. 2009).

General distribution. Mediterranean basin, Caucasus and Central Asia extending to Siberia and Mongolia.

Host plants. Often A. leucogrammes  lives on Apiaceae  ( Caucalis  sp., Tordilium sp., Torilis  sp., Daucus  sp., Laser  sp.).
