Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Ghahari et al. 2010a), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013). General distribution. Palearctic except Great Britain and Scandinavia; also known from the Indian subcontinent.
Comments. Ecology and host plants of P. viridissima are nearly the same as for P. prasina (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013) .
