Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Sadaghian et al. 2002; Nikdel et al. 2011), Guilan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Linnavuori 2008), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006; Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).

General distribution. Palearctic, India.

Host plants. In France, known in woody formations on Fagaceae  , Salicaceae  , Betulaceae  , Rosaceae  , Oleaceae  , Tiliaceae ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006)  and also on Pinaceae  , Cupressaceae  , Taxaceae  ; it also can feed on feeble insects, eggs, caterpillars but not as much as in the asopines (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).
