Cimex juniperinus Linnaeus, 1758: 445 ; Cimex flavoviridis Goeze, 1778: 274 ; Cimex tricolor Gmelin, 1790: 2160 ; Cimex unicolor Turton, 1802: 654 ; Pentatoma confusa Westwood, 1837:9 .

Distribution in Iran. Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 1987; Nateq Golestan & Modarres Awal 2012), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. Palearctic Region.

Host plants. On Morus alba ( Moraceae ) ( Nateq Golestan & Modarres Awal 2012), on Juniperus sp. ( Cupressaceae ) ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006); also recorded on Salicaceae , Empetraceae , Pinaceae (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013) .

Comments. The tachinid, Gymnosoma rotundatum (Linnaeus) ( Diptera : Tachinidae ), and the crabronid, Astata boops Schrank ( Hymenoptera : Crabronidae ), are known as respectivly parasite and predators of nymphs and adults (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).
