Distribution and habitat: — Australia, Lord Howe Island.

Remarks: —The petioles are bright green and lack linear lenticels. The frond scars on the trunk are conspicuously round, like in C. cicatricosa ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ) and C. stokesii .
