Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished by the male with blunt triangle ventral tibial apophysis and the female with kidney-shaped spermathecae.

Redescription. See Seo (1988) and Song and Chai (1992). Photographs of the types of Evarcha paralbaria are given in Figs 8–10 View FIGURE 8 View FIGURE 9 View FIGURE 10 .

Distribution. South Korea, China (Zhejiang, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan).

Comments. The type material of Evarcha paralbaria was examined and based on the clear figures in Seo (1988: figs 1–5), no difference between E. coreana and E. paralbaria was observed. Thus, we consider E. paralbaria as the junior synonym of E. coreana . Although Evarcha paralbaria was included within E. coreana in Peng (2020), the synonymy was not stated. Upon examination of the type specimen, E. paralbaria is herein formally proposed as a junior synonym of E. coreana .
