Notes.

Krukoff and Barneby (1974) mentioned " E. fusca var. inermis " as a synonym of E. fusca , resulting in the publication of this name. However, as Pulle (1912) did not base his variety on E. fusca Lour. but on E. ovalifolia Roxb., the name is excluded here as misapplied.
