Material examined. Total of 222 specimens were collected from different plants, including N. oleander , Hibiscus sp., O. europaea , Phoenix canariensis , Yucca sp., Pistacia lentiscus , Pinus canariensis C. Smith , A. donax , P. granatum and Ficus carica L. The species was recorded at 11 study sites: Barranco de la Solapa (25.III.2017), Betancuria (10.II.2017, 25.III.2017, 05.VIII.2017) , Caleta de Fuste (13.II.2017, 30.III.2017) ,, Costa Calma (30.IX.2016, 04.12.2016, 20.I.2017, 08–09.II.2017, 11–12.II.2017, 21–22.III.2017, 27.III.2017, 04.VIII.2017, 09.VIII.2017), El Pinar (25.III.2017, 05.VIII.2017) , Jandia (09.II.2017, 30.IX.2017) , Lajares (10.II.2017) , La Lajita (13.II.2017, 23.03.2017, 06.VIII.2017) , Marcos Sanches (23.III.2017) , Tarajalejo (24.III.2017) and Vega de Rio Palmas (25. III.2017) .

Distribution. Endemic species, known from all Canarian Islands except Lanzarote ( Eizaguirre 2007; Oromí & Báez 2010).
