Scymnus flexibilis Mulsant 1853: 271 . Material examined. Total of 122 specimens were collected at 10 study sites. Details are given in a separate paper by Romanowski et al. (2018).
Distribution. The species is widely distributed in southern and western Asia, including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen ( Raimundo & Harten 2000; Kovář 2007; Raimundo et al. 2008; Biranvand et al 2016). Recorded also in Brazil, where it was originally described as Neojauravia naeida ( Gordon & Almeida, 1991) , later synonymized with P. flexibilis by Poorani & Booth (2006). Recently reported for the first time from Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands by Romanowski et al. (2018).
