Type Locality: Perú, Pasco, "Pozuzo." .

Vernacular Names: Bushy-tailed Opossum.

Synonyms: Glironia aequatorialis Anthony 1926 ; Glironia criniger Anthony 1926 .

Distribution: Amazonian Brazil, Ecuador, Perú, and Bolivia.

Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable; rare.

Discussion: Reviewed by Marshall (1978 c, Mammalian Species, 107).
