Notes
Questionable status. Tovar-Hernández et al. (2007) and Tovar‐Hernández (2007) revise several species of Chone and restrict Chone duneri to the Arctic Ocean. Mediterranean specimens recorded as Chone duneri probably all belong to Dialychone dunerificta Tovar-Hernández, Licciano & Giangrande, 2007. According to Wasson et al. (2017), the genus Chone is absent from the Mediterranean.
