Leptuca leptodactyla View in CoL (Rathbun, in Rankin, 1898)

Thurman et al. (2010) presented the first records of this species from St. Thomas (Mandahl Bay and Vessup Bay) and St. John (Fris’ Bay, Folly Bay, and Fish Bay). It was previously recorded from St. Croix and is well known from many Caribbean islands ( Beatty 1968; Chase and Hobbs 1969). Our material comes from protected mangrove areas at Mandahl Bay. It was only found in saline water.
