Telebasis dominicana (Selys, 1876) View in CoL
Donnelly (2002) noted that the coenagrionid T. dominicana was common on Turpentine Run ghut, St. Thomas. We found this red damselfly on St. Thomas at Mahogany Run ghut and ponds, Turpentine Run ghut, Bolongo pond, and in ornamental water gardens at Tillet Gardens, and Water Island. This species is found in Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico ( Steinmann et al. 1997; Ramírez et al. 2020).
