Lectotype (Rivera Nuñez & Obón de Castro in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 519. 2001): Herb. Clifford: 313, Cunila 1 (BM-000646113) .

Current name: Sideritis romana L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Socorro & al. (in Lagascalia 14: 98. 1986) indicated Herb. Linn. 729.6 ( LINN) as the type, but this material is associated with S. montana L. (for which it is the type), and it is not original material for S. romana .
