Material examined. Holotype ♂, BOLIVIA, Cochabamba, Villa Tunari , trop. for., 16º54'55''S 65º22'06''W, 15.III.2001, M[alaise] T[rap], H. Heider col. ( CNCI). GoogleMaps
Diagnosis. MALE ( Fig. 102 View FIGURES 97 – 108. 97 – 101 ). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth ( Fig. 103 View FIGURES 97 – 108. 97 – 101 ). Clypeus with angulate median lobe. Antennal scrobe wholly carinate. Frons weakly coriaceous. Vertex broadly slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina sharp and high; median carina weak, touching posterior series of foveae; lateral margin sharp but not carinate; posterior margin followed by series of foveae. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove wider anteriorly; anterior fovea rounded; upper fovea subtriangular, anterior margin undefined; lower fovea with upper margin irregular, lower margin toothed posteriorly ( Fig. 104 View FIGURES 97 – 108. 97 – 101 ). Genitalia ( Figs 105, 106 View FIGURES 97 – 108. 97 – 101 ): paramere progressively wider apicad, apex rounded; cuspis divided into two arms, dorsal arm shorter and wider than ventral arm; aedeagus bottle-shaped, ventral surface with conspicuous projection ventrad; apodeme with base dilated outward.
