Santos (2017) rendered the name “Hemigasterini” as “ Aptesini ” and transferred Echthrus Gravenhorst, 1829 View in CoL , from this tribe to Cryptini . In Japan, 13 genera and 28 species have been recorded ( Watanabe et al., 2018).
