Revised diagnosis. Large psocids. Antennae very long, almost more than twice longer than body length. Wings membranous; fore wing Sc meeting Costa, Rs and M connected by a crossvein, fused for a distance or meeting at a point, areola postica triangular, with apex very narrow or pointed; female fore wings usually brown wash with some pale areas, radial fork branches diverge at an angle much more than 90°, vein R4+5 strongly sinuate and curving back; male fore wings hyaline and with venation normal, pterostigma and basal part of fore wing usually with brown pigmentation, radial fork branches diverge at an angle about 90°. Male hind tibia normal or expanded; female hind tibia normal. Male epiproct semicircular and unsclerotized distomedially; hypandrium a simple plate without additional projections, apically forming a dorsal-curved structure; phallosome a frame, acuminate proximally. Subgenital plate curving distally and laterally, sclerotized arms forming broad T-shaped regions.
