Comments. Dendroleontini is the largest tribe in the subfamily Dendroleontinae ( Machado et al. 2019) . The tribe is particularly diverse in Australia and contains most of the species previously placed in the former subtribe Periclystina . The Australian Dendroleontini are divided into 14 genera—eight that were previously placed in the former subtribe Dendroleontina ( Chrysoleon , Compsoleon , Dendroleon , Froggattisca , Mossega , Newleon , Parvoleon , and Speleon ) ( Stange 2004; Miller & Stange 2012), which are not treated in this revision; and six that form the monophyletic Periclystus genus group ( Austrogymnocnemia , Glenoleon , Megagonoleon gen. nov., Minyleon gen. nov., Periclystus , and Riekoleon ), which are treated here. The former Periclystina genera Ceratoleon and Platyleon are synonymized here with Austrogymnocnemia and Glenoleon respectively.
