Current name: Todea barbara (L.) T. Moore View in CoL ( Osmundaceae ).

Note: Schelpe & Anthony (in Leistner, Fl. Southern Africa, Pteridophyta: 45. 1986) indicated Adair material in Herb. Sloane (presumably linked to the cited Plukenet plate) as the holotype. However, this collection was never seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
