Material examined. Pohang-si (36°2′51″N, 129°45′ 19.01″E), Korea; collected from shallow littoral by T Karanovic on 30 March 2013 .

Deposition. NIBRIV0000904519.

World distribution. Scandinavia, Micronesia, and Korea.

Diagnosis. Female 0.56 mm long. Caudal rami ( Fig. 15A ) half as long as wide. Second exopodal segment of antenna ( Fig. 15B ) with one seta. First endopodal segment of first leg ( Fig. 15C ) 1.2 times as long as exopod. Second to fourth legs ( Fig. 15D, E ) armature formula (exopod/endo- pod): 0.1.123/1.1.121; 0.1.123/1.1.221; 0.1.223/1.1.121. Fifth leg ( Fig. 15F ) with prominent space between two longest setae on baseoendopod; exopod twice as long as wide, with two apical setae on prominent setophores.

Remarks. Described from Norway by Sars (1911), found in Sweden by Lang (1948), and finally in Ifalik Atoll, Micronesia by Vervoort (1964). This is the first record in the Northern Pacific. Gómez (2020) transferred it into a newly established and monotypic genus Robertgurneyella .
