Material examined. Seongsan, Jejudo (33°27′N, 126° 56′E), Korea GoogleMaps ; by washing seaweeds; collected by Anna World distribution. Japan and Korea .

Diagnosis. Carapace outline subovoid in lateral view; lateral surface finely pitted; posterior and anterior flanges smooth; prominent eye spot.

Remarks. Loxoconcha viva differs from L. puchra by having a strongly developed fringe on the postero-ventral margin and lacks a few ridges on the anterior part of the carapace.

World distribution. Taiwan and Korea.

Diagnosis. Carapace outline elliptical compressed in lateral outline; lateral surface punctate with wide-spread pits around mid-dorsal area and ventral ridges merging into a median reticulation pattern; broad posterior flange; anterior flange narrower.

Remarks. Loxoconcha taiwanensis differs from L. puchra by elliptical, elongated valves with very fine pits.
