Altitudinal range. The localities reported here range from 100–1800 m.

Remarks. Presence in Colombia uncertain. Simone (2006) listed this taxon as uncertain from Brazil, based on one (mislabeled?) lot in the Philadelphia collection. Tello (1975) mentioned this species from Edo. Barinas, Carabobo and Guárico. Collected “on bushes,” suggesting a partly semi-arboreal habit.
