Canthidium atomarium Balthasar, 1939: 112 View in CoL [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: French Guiana: Cayenne (“ Guyane franc., Cayenne”). Type material: According to Bezděk & Hájek (2012), one unsexed syntype in NMPC—ex Balthasar collection. Distribution: French Guiana (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
