Type material. CHINA, Yunnan Province: Holotype male from Nujiang LisuAutonomous Prefecture, Gongshan Dulong Nu Autonomous County, Dulongjiang Town , Kong Dang Village , 27.87°N, 98.34°E, 1726 m, 5 June 2014, X. Cao & Y. Zhong leg. ( CBEE, LJ02459 ) GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 male, with same data as for holotype ( CBEE, LJ02460 ) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Kong Dang Village; adjective.

Diagnosis. The male of P. kongdangensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. cheppe Caleb, 2018 ( Caleb et al. 2018) by the following combination of characters: 1) E broad, with its apical part strongly curved; 2) RTA simple and pointed. It can be diagnosed by EP on the prolateral margin of apical E (on the middle part in P. cheppe ).

MALE (LJ02459): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 13.7–14.4, DS length 6.9, width 6.3, OS length 7.5, width 4.6. Eyes: AME 0.18, ALE 0.32, PME 0.23, PLE 0.27,AME–AME 0.22,AME–ALE 0.12, PME– PME 0.31, PME–PLE 0.28, AME–PME 0.39, ALE–PLE 0.25, CH AME 0.33, CH ALE 0.29. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121; Fe I–II 323, III–IV 322; Pa I–III 101, IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 3025, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 7.5 (2.3, 1.0, 1.5, –, 2.7); I 22.0 (6.6, 2.0, 6.4, 5.3, 1.7); II 27.5 (7.7, 2.6, 7.9, 7.0, 2.3); III 19.9 (5.9, 1.8, 5.7, 5.0, 1.5); IV 22.9 (7.2, 1.5, 6.0, 6.2, 2.0). Leg formula: II-IV-I-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 28 denticles.

Palp ( Figs 137A–C View FIGURE 137 ): As in diagnosis. C arising from T at 12:00 o’clock position. E lunate, arising from T at 9:30–10:00 o’clock position, with a small hump at its apical part, with its apical part broad. RTA almost straight, tapering, arising medially from Ti.

Colouration ( Figs 138A–B View FIGURE 138 ): DS yellow with dark hairs. Fovea and striae distinctly marked. OS dorsally reddish brown with lots of yellow marks. OS ventrally yellowish-brown, with lots of red-brown marks, many of them fused to a longitudinal line medially.

FEMALE: Unknown.

Distribution. China (Yunnan Province).
