Type material. LAOS, Bokeo Province: Holotype female from Houay Xai District, Ban Hatthai, Wat Santhi Villath , 20.24°N, 100.46°E, 365 m, 9 June 2013, P. Jäger leg. ( SMF, SMF0004 View Materials ). GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin adjective mamilliformis , - is, - e, meaning “mamillate”, referring to the two mamillate protrusions of IDS in ventral view; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of P. mamilliformis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. hingstoni by the short anterior margins of LL, but can be recognised by FW fused anteriorly, posterior turning point developed as widened structure (FW separated and turning point developed as regularly widened U-turn in P. hingstoni ).

FEMALE (SMF0004): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 10.3, DS length 4.1, width 3.9, OS length 6.2, width 4.2. Eyes: AME 0.13, ALE 0.22, PME 0.15, PLE 0.19, AME–AME 0.15, AME–ALE 0.09, PME–PME 0.21, PME–PLE 0.37, AME–PME 0.32, ALE–PLE 0.28, CH AME 0.39, CH ALE 0.30. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–II 323, III– IV 322; Pa I–IV 101; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 3025, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 5.9 (1.5, 1.0, 1.3, –, 2.1); I 16.3 (4.7, 2.0, 4.4, 3.9, 1.3); II 19.8 (5.3, 2.1, 6.1, 4.8, 1.5); III 13.6 (4.2, 1.6, 3.5, 3.1, 1.2); IV 15.8 (5.1, 1.0, 4.0, 4.3, 1.4). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 16 denticles.

Epigyne ( Figs 161A–C View FIGURE 161 ): As in diagnosis. EF slightly wider than long, without AB. Median margins of LL parallel over almost their entire length. Spherical structures of IDS extending antero-laterally beyond FW in dorsal view.

Colouration ( Figs 162A–B View FIGURE 162 ): DS yellow with dark spots. Fovea and striae marked. OS dorsally with alternating light yellow with reddish-brown patches, ventrally with two reddish-brown marks in anterior part.

MALE: Unknown.

Distribution. Laos (Bokeo Province).
