Type material. CHINA, Fujian Province: Holotype female from Longxishan National Nature Reserve , 26.54°N, 117.21°E, 1400 m, 18 July 2013, X. Cao & Y. Zhong leg.( CBEE, LJ02544 ) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 31females, with same data as for holotype ( CBEE, LJ02545 LJ02575 ) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Longxishan National Nature Reserve; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of P. longxiensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. foliiculiaris spec. nov. by: 1) Almost straight anterior margins of LL; 2) Long tube-shaped IDS, but can be distinguished by the spherical structures of IDS close to each other along the middle lines of LL (spherical structures of IDS separated from each other at the middle lines in P. foliiculiaris spec. nov.).

FEMALE(LJ02544): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 6.8–7.9, DS length 3.2, width 2.9, OS length 4.2, width 2.9. Eyes: AME 0.12, ALE 0.21, PME 0.16, PLE 0.18, AME–AME 0.16, AME–ALE 0.09, PME–PME 0.21, PME–PLE 0.33, AME–PME 0.29, ALE–PLE 0.25, CH AME 0.39, CH ALE 0.30. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–II 323, III 322, IV 331; Pa I–III 101, IV 001; Ti I–II 2228, III 2126, IV 2026; Mt I–II 2024, III 3025, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 4.5 (1.2, 0.6, 0.9, –, 1.8); I 10.2 (3.0, 1.2, 2.7, 2.4, 0.9); II 14.2 (3.7, 1.4, 4.4, 3.4, 1.3); III 9.4 (2.8, 1.1, 2.5, 2.3, 0.7); IV 11.4 (3.4, 0.8, 2.9, 3.2, 1.1). Leg formula: II-IV-I-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 27 denticles.

Epigyne ( Figs 155A–C View FIGURE 155 ): As in diagnosis. EF with roughly as long as wide, with indistinct AB. Anterior margins of LL running in transverse axis, slightly curved. Posterior margins of LL with a median incision. FW covering the most of the IDS. FD situated medially.

Colouration ( Figs 156A–B View FIGURE 156 ): DS yellowish with dark spots. Fovea marked with dark line, striae marked with black dots. Sternum and ventral coxae with few pale dots. OS dorsally yellowish brown with lots of reddish-brown patches arranged irregularly, ventrally yellowish brown with several scattered spots and a larger triangular patch in front of spinnerets.

MALE: Unknown.

Distribution. China (Fujian Province).
