Type material. CHINA, Yunnan Province: Holotype male from Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture , Luechun County, Martyr Cemetery , 22.99°N, 102.45°E, 1934 m, 30 October 2015, Y. Zhong & Y. Zhu leg. ( CBEE, LJ2144 ). GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Luechun County; adjective.

Diagnosis. The male of P. luechunensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. can be distinguished from those of all other Pseudopoda species by the dRTA with two very long branches, the inner one reaching to highth of the middle tegulum.

MALE (LJ2144): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 8.9, DS length 3.7, width 3.3, OS length 5.2, width 3.6. Eyes: AME 0.15, ALE 0.25, PME 0.18, PLE 0.23, AME–AME 0.16, AME–ALE 0.07, PME–PME 0.24, PME–PLE 0.36, AME–PME 0.30, ALE–PLE 0.28, CH AME 0.40, CH ALE 0.32. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121; Fe I–III 323, IV 331; Pa I–IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 2026, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 4.8 (1.4, 0.6, 1.1, –, 1.7); I 11.7 (3.3, 1.4, 3.1, 2.8, 1.1); II 14.5 (3.9, 1.6, 4.3, 3.4, 1.3); III 9.8 (2.9, 1.3, 2.5, 2.1, 1.0); IV 11.1 (3.4, 0.8, 2.7, 3.0, 1.2). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 29 denticles.

Palp ( Figs 157A–C View FIGURE 157 ): As in diagnosis. C arising from T at 12:30 o’clock position. E arising from T at 11:00 o’clock position, short and bent at its basal part. T concave at the central part, with proximal hump and distal elongate outgrowth. Spermophor visible submarginally on retrolateral T in ventral view and in prolateral view as short straight tube before becoming narrow and entering further distal the E. RTA arising proximally from Ti, with three apices, vRTA broad.

Colouration ( Figs 158A–B View FIGURE 158 ): DS yellow with dark spots, median with distinct and characteristic dark band, margin with irregular black patterns. Fovea with camouflaged in median band, tiny spots marking striae. OS dorsally yellow with a reddish-brown line in longitudinal axis above heart and lots of reddish-brown marks and irregular pattern, ventrally with several reddish-brown marks, with a reddish-brown region at its posterior part.
