Type material. CHINA, Yunnan Province: Holotype female from Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture , Luechun County, Martyr Cemetery , 22.99°N, 102.45°E, 1934 m, 30 October 2015, Y. Zhong & Y. Zhu leg. ( CBEE, LJ2140 ). GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin adjective oliviformis , - is, - e, meaning “olivary”, referring to the olive-like S in dorsal view; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of P. oliviformis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. gongschana by: 1) Anterior margins of LL semicircular; 2) Posterior margins of LL inverted V-shaped. It can be recognised by the following combination of characters: 1) LL touching each other along the median line; 2) FW only covering slightly the IDS, forming a quadrangle roughly as wide as long (LL touching each other only slightly; FW covering entire IDS and building a trapezoid distinctly wider than long in P. gongschana ).

FEMALE (LJ2140): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 10.3, DS length 4.4, width 3.7, OS length 5.9, width 3.4. Eyes: AME 0.13, ALE 0.25, PME 0.17, PLE 0.20, AME–AME 0.11, AME–ALE 0.06, PME– PME 0.15, PME–PLE 0.27, AME–PME 0.23, ALE–PLE 0.18, CH AME 0.28, CH ALE 0.22. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–III 323, IV 331; Pa I–IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 2026, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 6.1 (1.7, 0.7, 1.2, –, 2.5); I 15.9 (4.7, 1.5, 5.0, 3.5, 1.2); II 19.5 (5.5, 1.9, 5.7, 4.7, 1.7); III 13.6 (4.4, 1.3, 3.7, 3.3, 0.9); IV 15.1 (4.9, 0.7, 3.9, 4.1, 1.5). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 19 denticles.

Epigyne ( Figs 191A–C View FIGURE 191 ): As in diagnosis. EF rougly as wide as long, with long, anteriorly converging anterior margins, but indistinct AB and circular patch anterior to LL with special surface structure of cuticle. Posterior margins of LL with distinct median indentation. FW not developed. FD long, narrow, tips roughly laterad.

Colouration ( Figs 192A–B View FIGURE 192 ): DS yellow with dark spots, mainly along striae, and dark setae; margin with irregular black patterns. Fovea distinctly marked. OS dorsally brown with several indistinct dark marks. OS ventrally yellowish-brown with a reddish-brown triangular patch at posterior part.

MALE: Unknown.
