It can be diagnosed by the following characteristics: 1) E arising from 9:00 o’clock position on the T; 2) vRTA longer than dRTA in retrolateral view (E arising from 10:00, vRTA almost equal to dRTA in P. amelia ; E arising from 8:00, vRTA not developed in P. lushanensis ).

MALE (LJ2356): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 8.2–8.8, DS length 3.8, width 3.4, OS length 4.4, width 2.7. Eyes: AME 0.13, ALE 0.25, PME 0.16, PLE 0.20, AME–AME 0.14, AME–ALE 0.08, PME–PME 0.20, PME–PLE 0.31, AME–PME 0.27, ALE–PLE 0.24, CH AME 0.32, CH ALE 0.29. Palp ( Figs 181A–C View FIGURE 181 ): As in diagnosis. C arising from T at 12:00 o’clock position. E tapering to its tip, running in semi-circle. Spermophor following retrolateral margin of T closely, partly hidden in ventral view. RTA arising basally to medially from Ti, with small hump at its distal part.

Colouration ( Figs 182A–B View FIGURE 182 ): DS yellow with dark pattern, forming 2 distinct lateral bands and a light median band. Fovea and striae distinctly marked. OS dorsally light grey with marks at its margins. OS ventrally light grey with dark dots, irregularly arranged.
