Type material. CHINA, Guizhou Province: Holotype male from Chishui City, Alsophina Spinulosa National Nature Reserve, Zhuluoji Park, 28.44°N, 105.99°E, 500 m, 29 May 2008 , L. Wang, R. Zuo & Y. Zhang leg. ( SWUC, SWUC 0002). Paratypes: 2 females, with same data as for holotype ( SWUC, SWUC 0003– SWUC 0004); 2 females, Chishui City, Alsophina Spinulosa National Nature Reserve, Yaozhangou, 28.48°N, 106.03°E, 600 m, 2 June 2008, L. Wang, R. Zuo & Y. Zhang leg. ( SWUC, SWUC 0005).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Chishui City; adjective.

Diagnosis. The male of P. chishuiensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. lushanensis ( Wang, 1990) ( Wang 1990) in having a long and filiform E with apical part forming a semicircle, but can be distinguished by the subdistally part of RTA distinctly broader than in P. lushanensis . Females of P. chishuiensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. resembles those of P. gongschana Jäger & Vedel, 2007 and P. platembola Jäger, 2001 (Jäger 2001; Jäger & Vedel 2007) in having semicircular shaped anterior margins of LL, but can be distinguished by: 1) IDS freely visible in dorsal view; 2) LL extending posteriorly only slightly beyond epigastric furrow (IDS covered by FW, LL extending posteriorly distinctly beyond epigastric furrow in P. gongschana and P. platembola ).
