Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Baoshan City; adjective.

Diagnosis. P. baoshanensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to P. contentio by: 1) E sickleshaped; 2)T with prolaterad outgrowth; 3) Similar female copulatory organ with subparallel anterior and posterior margins of LL and roundish sclerotized parts of IDS situated centrally in each LL, but can be distinguished by the following characters: 1) dRTA slightly curved; 2) E broader and reaching retrolatero-distal margin of alveolus; 3) Almost half of FW covered by LL (dRTA forming a circle-shaped interspace with vRTA, E shorter and thinner, posterior third of FW freely visible in P. contentio ).

MALE (LJ01899): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 7.8–9.4, DS length 4.5, width 3.9, OS length 4.3, width 2.7.
