Typematerial – Holotype, male, GongbukaVillage, KangdingCounty , Sichuan, Chi- na, 8. viii. 2009, Zhen-HuaGaoleg. ( MHBU). Paratypes. 1 male, 1 female, labelledasthe holotype ( MHBU) .

Etymology – ThespecificnameisaLatinadjectiveandreferstotheslenderbody.

Diagnosis – Thenewspeciesissimilarto B. reichardti Medvedev, 1968, butcanbedistinguishedfromthelatterbythefollowingcharacteristics: (1) bodyratherslender; (2) antennomereIIIabout 2 timesaslongasII; (3) basal marginofpronotumwithnarrowbeadonlyinlateral 1/4; (4) pronotumdifferentinshape, widestatbasal 1/2; (5) prosternalprocessdifferentinshape, longitudinallyslightlyconvexinmiddle; (6) metatibiadistinctlycurved; (7) metafemoraventrallyslender, withonesharpprocessneartheapex; (8) ae- deagusdifferentinshape.

Description – Male. Bodyslenderlyelliptical, arched; black, antennomereI–II, VIII–XI, mouthpartsandtarsireddishbrown. Headhexagonal, withdistinctandlargepuncturesin middleandsmallpuncturesatsides; labrumtransverselyovoid, emarginateatfrontbor- der, scatteredwithyellowhairsonbothsides; clypeusdeeplyemarginateatfrontborder, slightlyconvex; frontoclypealsutureextremelyobscure; genaefeeblyconvexandslightly extended, templesreduced; fronsconvexbetweeneyes, interocularspaceabout 5.08 times asaneyediameter; mentumhexagonal, widelylongitudinallyconvexinmiddle, longitu- dinallydepressedinbothsides, withsparseyellowpubescence; maxillarypalpuswithse- curiformterminalpalpomere. Antennaelong, reachingbaseofpronotum, withshorthairs; antennomere I thick and strong, II very short, III about 2 times as long as II, VII to XI each graduallywidening, XIelongateovoid, ratioofthelength (thewidth) ofantennomeres I–XI from basal to apical as follows: 25.0(17.0): 18.0(14.0): 36.0(14.0): 29.0(16.0): 27.0(16.0): 25.0(16.0): 29.0(18.0): 26.0(19.0): 26.0(19.0): 25.0(19.0): 30.0(20.0).

Pronotumslightlytransverse, about 1.34 timesaswideaslong, widestatmiddle, withsmallpuncturesinmiddlebutthepuncturesbecomeelongateandconfluentatsides; anteriormarginemarginatewithnarrowbeadonlyinlateral 1/3; sidesarcuate, strongly narrowingforwardandfeeblysobackwardfromthewidestpoint, withnarrowbead; basal marginnearlystraight, withnarrowbeadonlyinlateral 1/4; anterioranglessharp, poste- rioranglesnearlyrectangular. Scutellumwidelytriangular, withobscurepunctures. Elytra punctato-striate, striateobscureatbase, becomingdistincttoapices, withlargepunctures, intervalsflat, irregularlypunctatewithseveraltransversewrinkles; lateralmarginvisible onlyathumeriindorsalview. Pseudo-epipleuronintact, graduallynarrowedtoapices. Prohypomerawithlongwrinkles. Prosternumwithirregularwrinklesandsparseshort hairsinmiddle, prosternalprocesslongitudinallyslightlyconvexinmiddle, verticallyde- scendingatroundapexinlateralview.

Protibiagraduallywideningfrombasetoapex, inneredgesmooth, nearlystraight, withdenseshortspinesnearapex, withtwoequilengthapicalspurs; outeredgestraight, withdenseshortspinesnearapex; dorsalsurfacescatteredwithfinepuncturesandshort hairs; ventralsurfacewithadistinctellipticallargedepression, smoothindepressionand withsparseshortspinesandhairsonoutsideofthedepression. ProtarsomeresItoIIIextremelydilated, withdensefuzzinventralsurface. Mesotibiaslightlycurved, withshort spinesandhairs. Metatibiadistinctlycurved, withsparsehairsandshortspines. Metafe- moracurved, withsparsehairsandonesharpprocessneartheapexinventralsurface. Ratio of the length of metatarsomeres I to IV as follows: 60.0: 30.0: 25.0: 41.0.

Aedeagusshort, length 1.44 mm, width 0.44 mm.

Female. Bodywiderthanthatofmale. Protibiawithoutdepression. Protarsomeres ItoIIInotdilated. Metatibiastraight. Metafemorastraight, withoutprocessneartheapex ofventralsurface.

Measurements. Bodylength 9.5 mm; width 4.0– 4.5 mm.
